Student Allegedly Chokes, Rapes Teacher Inside School

A Florida high school senior is accused of choking a teacher until she passed out, then sexually assaulting her while she was unconscious.
Victor Nash, 18, is charged with attempted murder, sexual battery, robbery and grand theft auto.
Police say that two hours after school atSouth Dade Senior High School was dismissed on Friday, Nash attacked the woman inside a room at the school, body slamming her to the ground and choking her until she lost consciousness, NBC Miami reports.
The victim regained consciousness at some point after Nash left and contacted police. Cops located Nash about 5 hours later, driving the victim’s car.
Nash’s classmates expressed surprise at the allegations.
“I’m shocked, really shocked,” fellow student Orpheus Byrd told WSVN. “I would’ve never thought it would be him.”
Police say Nash confessed to the crime after his arrest.
Victor Nash Sr., Nash’s father, a registered sex offender,told CBS4 that he was in “disbelief.”
“I don’t know where he got that from,” Nash Sr. said. “I thought it was a joke or something like that. Then later on I found out it was true. I just like feel in disbelief.”
Nash Sr.’s sex offender status stems from a 2001 conviction for sexual battery. When asked about how his past may have affected his son, Nash Sr. told WSVN, “As far as I know, he didn’t even know it.”
Nash Sr. also called the allegations “upsetting,” saying that, “I never wanted [my son] to go through the things I went through.”
